It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just two days away. I just wanted to take a few moments to tell you how thankful I am for each of you and your children. I love my job and I feel so lucky to get to work with these little turkeys! Thank you for sharing your children with me!
Thank you to everyone who donated $1 to our "pie" fund this week-- Madison, Cody, Maliya, Salvador, Taylor, Karlmella, Jordyn, Aubrey, and Maggie! It definitely helped cut down on the cost of the pies, popcorn, popcorn, plates, and utensils. The kids had a blast getting together with Mrs. Wells's students and enjoying the Thanksgiving treats!
Also, thank you to Salvador's mom who sent in juice boxes!
Congratulations to Khloe, Cody, and Noah for making their AR goals! We have several more students who are getting close!
Congratulations to Amyah for earning a Star Student award this week!

Well, it seems as if Fall is here! Don't forget to send jackets, and maybe gloves and hats with your kiddos on these cool days.
Thank you so much to all of the family members who came to our Halloween party to help! The students had a great time! A special thank you goes out to Mrs. Walker for organizing our "Falloween" party! She did a great job!
Thank you to Karlmella and Cody for bringing extra snacks for our class to share!

Thursday, November 9 (Teachers' Institute)--NO SCHOOL
Friday, November 10 (Veteran's Day)-- NO SCHOOL
Reading and Spelling Tests over Lesson 8, A Musical Day, on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 8.
Send in canned food goods for our school wide food drive going on! If we reach our goal of 700 items, students will get to participate in a Gym Jam before Thanksgiving Break.
Please have your student wear Red, White, and Blue on Wednesday in honor of Veteran's Day. We will have an assembly at 1:45 and all current or former members of the military are welcome to attend!
